About the Role
We are looking for friendly, outgoing, and customer serviceโdriven individuals to join our Wine & Beyond team as Sales Associates.
As a Sales Associate, you will provide exemplary customer service, ensure the store is well-stocked and merchandised, and deliver an exceptional shopping experience for every guest.
What Youโll Do
Greet and assist customers, delivering exceptional service every time.
Educate, advise, and suggest products to customers to drive sales.
Complete customer transactions using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
Stock shelves and coolers, participate in merchandising and promotional activities.
Assist with store opening and closing procedures (when applicable).
Adhere to all regulatory requirements (AGLC/BC LRS, ProServe/Serving It Right, OHS, First Aid).
Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude.
Support general store maintenance, cleaning, and other tasks as assigned.
What You Bring
Minimum 1 year of retail experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
ProServe/Serving It Right certification (required).
First Aid certification is an asset.
Training in wine, beer, or spirits is preferred but not required.
Strong customer service and sales skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work evenings/weekends.
Access to reliable transportation.
Must be able to pass a background check.
