Overview:
The Production Inventory Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the flow, accuracy, and accountability of inventory within our cannabis manufacturing facility. This role ensures that all inventory is properly tracked, stored, and reported in compliance with state regulations and company standards.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead the production inventory team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Provides inventory reporting to purchasing and planning team.
- Oversees movement and storage of all inventory within production locations.
- Manages and maintains inventory tracking system while maintaining compliance with all state and local cannabis regulations.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through physical inventory audits.
- Investigates and resolves inventory discrepancies as required.
- Facilitates cross-functional collaboration throughout the supply chain.
- Enforces and optimizes inventory control procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent required.
- 3+ years of inventory control experience, with cannabis industry experience preferred.
- Proficient with excel and inventory management systems
- Familiarity with cannabis industry regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., METRC, BioTrack) a strong plus.
- Supervisory experience with a proven ability to lead a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain/maintain all state-required cannabis badging, which includes a pre-employment background check.
- Must possess a valid driverβs license or state ID card.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
- Must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking for long durations.
- Must have the ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Allergen warnings - Potential exposure to dust, pollen, and plant pathogens.
- May require daily use of provided PPE.
Maryland Pay Range
$60,000—$60,000 USD
