Job Responsibilities

· Provides inventory reports to the purchasing and inventory control manager.

· Maintains accurate daily records of goods received and shipments made.

· Manages and maintains inventory system; facilitates upgrades to related database and/or software under the direction of the purchasing or inventory control manager.

· Conducts frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory.

· Handles all inventory movements across the facility

· Assists with periodic physical inventory audits.

· Operates forklift truck when necessary.

· Performs other related duties as requested.

Qualifications

· Ability to use the computer

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

· Ability to manage high stress situations and to be flexible and adaptable when a situation requires it.

· Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task.

· At least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the US.

· Proper employment documentation.

· Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

· Willingness to work evenings and weekends, if requested

· Experience and knowledge in horticulture and/or agriculture preferred.

· Previous inventory experience

 

Physical Demands

· Must have the ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

· Must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking for extended periods.

 

Education

· Minimum High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent required.

· Degree in horticulture, agriculture, or plant science field is desirable.
