SNDL is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist who’s ready to grow their career and contribute to a collaborative team in an exciting industry.

In this role, you'll be involved in full-cycle recruitment for roles across our retail stores, warehouses, and corporate offices in multiple provinces. From sourcing candidates and coordinating interviews to partnering with hiring managers, you'll play an important role in helping us find the right people to drive our business forward.

Role and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for roles across multi-provincial retail operations, warehouse, and corporate functions
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and Operations to support smooth transitions from recruitment through onboarding
  • Customize recruitment strategies to align with regional market dynamics and individual retail brand needs
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date job descriptions, templates, and documentation
  • Review resumes, conduct phone screenings, and complete reference checks
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews while ensuring timely, clear communication with hiring managers and candidates
  • Track and manage candidates through the recruitment lifecycle using applicant tracking systems
  • Ensure timely feedback and closure of hiring loops to deliver a seamless candidate experience
  • Monitor and analyze recruitment data and metrics to improve process efficiency and effectiveness

Experience and Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of recruitment or talent acquisition experience (retail or multi-location environments considered an asset)
  • Experience in cannabis, liquor, or manufacturing sectors is a strong asset
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred
  • Exposure to train-the-trainer models or supporting others in recruitment is an asset
  • Solid understanding of employment legislation and compliance best practices
  • Comfortable using HRIS systems (Workday experience is a plus)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and data tracking tools (e.g., Excel, reporting dashboards)
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license and have access to reliable transportation
  • Able to pass a standard background check
