Job Summary: Responsible for providing strong knowledgeable and friendly customer service skills to ensure a positive shopping experience. Responsible for assisting the customer throughout the buying experience and meeting a daily sales average. To ensure that every customer is given the proper sales technique set forth by Cannabis 21+ by utilizing product knowledge and assisting with product selection based on customer needs. To ensure proper handling of transactions and maintain a safe clean work environment adhering to local and state regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides excellent customers service, ensuring that each customer has a positive and enjoyable shopping experience while making them feel comfortable providing knowledgeable detailed product information and making the appropriate product recommendations.
- Educate customers on safe use of their selected cannabis product
- Correctly weigh, package, and label cannabis products as required.
- Check customer identification documents to verify that they are the legal age.
- Strain knowledge provides each customer with education on every strain available in the store, consumption methods, and product effectiveness.
- Ready to answer customer inquiries and or questions about products and make them feel comfortable while doing so, using sales techniques at every opportunity and ready to offer and discuss options to each customer.
- Recommendation of products; rule of three with every customer
- Promoting sales: Promoting specials sales, offers, and any loyalty program in place.
- Ensuring compliance in all areas including with local and state regulations regarding cannabis sales, to include proper product handling upon end of transaction.
- Maintain product knowledge and stay up to date on new products within the stores and in the industry.
- Restock of shelves, proper displays as set forth by Cannabis21+ to include the look and feel of the store. This includes proper music and volume of music as set forth by Cannabis21+.
- Cash handling and other forms of payment securely and responsibly. Utilizing the POS system properly and taking all training offered by each system.
- Assist in inventory management as assigned, including monitoring stock level and reporting discrepancies as identified.
- Proper handling of product upon purchase to ensure compliance at all levels including local and state laws.
- Expected to show up as scheduled and work entire shift, showing up on time and leaving on time.
- Must maintain average sales per shift of $70.00 and suggest ways to improve sales.
- Proper use of POS and payment systems, excellent communicator, integrity in all things.
- Other duties may be assigned.
