Merchandising Analyst

Location: On-Site, the candidate must be comfortable working on-site 5 days a week at our Chicago, IL corporate office 

About the Role:  

Curaleaf is looking for a Merchandising Analyst to join our Planning team and help power the day‑to‑day execution behind our digital menus, product launches, and promotions. This role plays a key part in supporting retail leaders by analyzing e-commerce performance and ensuring products and promotions are set up accurately across our POS, e-commerce, and ERP platforms. You’ll partner closely with Marketing, Planning, and cross‑functional teams to improve sales performance, productivity, and guest experience, while supporting the long‑term evolution of our retail tech stack.

What You'll Do: 

  • Own the creation, setup, and ongoing maintenance of products and promotions across all retail systems:
    • POS: Sweed
    • ERP: Microsoft Dynamics (F&O)
  • Partner with Marketing and Planning to build, launch, and maintain promotions and discounts, on time and functioning correctly across all applicable markets. 
  • Analyze product catalogs and master data to identify opportunities and gaps in sales, marketing, planning, finance, and operations, then clearly communicate insights to retail leadership
  • Ensure products are fully created and maintained in systems before arriving in stores, in line with internal SLAs
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to collect, validate, and maintain accurate product data
  • Manage product masters and catalog updates across all retail markets
  • Maintain and optimize online menus, including executing pop‑up notifications when needed
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for product and promotion system execution for internal teams and external vendors
  • Troubleshoot and resolve field‑submitted tickets 
  • Communicate promotion and discount details to retail store teams as needed
  • Support successful brand and product launches across retail channels
  • Contribute to system enhancements that improve efficiency and drive sales and financial results
  • Continuously improve product and promotion processes to increase sales and reduce waste
  • Travel up to 25%
  • Pitch in on other projects as needed    

What You’ll Bring:

  • Strong analytical and technical skills
  • Proficient in POS and Ecom platforms (SWEED)
  • Experience in the cannabis industry
  • Highly proficient in Excel and report building
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Effective collaborator with cross-functional teams
  • Able to garner support and influence when needed
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines effectively

Even Better If you Have: 

  • Familiarity with ERP and other enterprise planning systems 
  • Experience with basic coding

Illinois Hiring Range
$72,000$80,000 USD
