JOB SUMMARY

The Accounts Payable Manager will oversee the entire accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, managing vendor relationships, and leading a team of AP professionals. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter who is highly organized with great attention to detail and an entrepreneurial mindset to identify improvements and help manage change in a dynamic, hyper-growth environment. 

CORE JOB DUTIES 

  • Manage the full cycle of accounts payable, including invoice processing, payment disbursement, and reconciliation. 
  • Supervise and mentor the AP team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development. 
  • Develop and implement AP policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy. 
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and resolve any payment discrepancies or issues. 
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. 
  • Prepare and analyze AP reports, providing insights and recommendations to senior management. 
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall financial operations. 
  • Monitor and manage AP aging reports, ensuring timely payments and minimizing overdue invoices. 
  • Lead AP-related projects and initiatives to enhance the department's performance. 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS  

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. 
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and AP processes. 
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to work independently in a highly organized manner

In accordance with any local and state compensation laws, the compensation listed is the current estimated range for the position. Final offer details and future compensation may be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to, geographic location, market compensation data, skills, experience, and other relevant factors. Pay Range
$115,000$125,000 USD
