Front-End Web Developer

We are looking for a Front-End Web Developer to work with our development team based in Amsterdam and Ghent. Your mission is to help design and build the next generation of trading-related applications and services for customers and improve our modern and dynamic web-based trading platform. Working closely with our UI/UX designer, you'll make sure the app looks great and runs smoothly. Join us in shaping the future of trading experiences!🌟

You'll Be Responsible For:

► Design, build and improve our web applications, giving customers the best trading experience

► Co-create with our UX designers to meet and exceed user expectations, contribute design ideas

► Continuously refine the user experience, implement and act on feedback to evolve our applications and front-ends

►Develop new user-facing features to make trading an enjoyable experience

►Build reusable code and libraries for future use

►Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability

►Collaborate across teams to realize a company-wide design and work on best practices

Your Skills & Experience to Excel:

► At least 2 years of professional experience in this or a similar role 

►Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3

►Proficient understanding of client-side scripting (vanilla Javascript)

►Proficient in a JS framework, preferably React (Next.js) or Angular

►Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS

►Passionate about good UI/UX

►Great communication skills and keen to work in a collaborative, diverse, and agile team are essential.

► Good English and Dutch language skills

► Cooperation with teams across our branches in Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague, Gent

►Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins jobs, deployment pipelines, and automation) and deployment is a big plus

►Cloud and container experience (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes) is a big plus
