Job Summary


We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Fleet Supervisor to oversee and manage our fleet operations across two California locations. This individual will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of over 40 vehicles, ensuring our drivers and operations teams are supported with reliable transportation. The ideal candidate has hands-on knowledge of transit vans and box trucks, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with both NorCal and SoCal management teams. Position is based in Van Nuys - Southern California with periodic travel to Alameda - Northern California

As Kiva's Fleet Supervisor, you will...
  • Oversee a fleet of 40+ vehicles across California, ensuring operational readiness
  • Schedule and coordinate regular preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs to maximize vehicle uptime
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all vehicle servicing, inspections, and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to California State and DCC regulations
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce fuel consumption and repair costs
  • Utilize GPS and telematics systems to monitor driver behavior, vehicle utilization, and identify misuse
  • Communicate regularly with management teams in NorCal and SoCal regarding vehicle availability, downtime, and maintenance planning
  • Perform and oversee minor in-house repairs when necessary
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for external maintenance and repair needs
  • Travel periodically to Northern California to support fleet operations and team needs


What we're looking for...
  • 3-4 years relevant Fleet Supervisor experience.
  • Proven experience in fleet management or supervision, preferably in a multi-site environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of transit vans, box trucks, and related vehicle systems.
  • Hands-on mechanical ability to perform minor repairs and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with California transportation compliance requirements, including DCC regulations.
  • Proficiency in using fleet management software, GPS, and telematics systems.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to develop cost-saving strategies and maintain a high standard of safety and compliance.
  • Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Experience in logistics, transportation, or cannabis distribution (preferred but not required).
  • Ability to train drivers on vehicle use, safety, and compliance.
  • Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
  • MUST be able to travel to Northern California 1 to 2 times a month
