JOB SUMMARY
Cresco Labs is seeking a Data Analyst to support the Retail team by transforming complex data into actionable insights. This role will partner with Merchandising, Marketing, Planning, Finance, and Operations to evaluate retail performance, develop dashboards and reporting frameworks, and provide recommendations that guide decision-making at both the market and store level. The Data Analyst will apply analytical judgment to interpret trends in sales, pricing, promotions, and customer behavior, ensuring insights directly inform strategy.
CORE JOB DUTIES
- Partner with Merchandising, Marketing, and Regional Ops to analyze campaign effectiveness, customer behavior, and category trends, providing actionable recommendations for future initiatives.
- Design and manage recurring reporting frameworks on sales, inventory, and promotions, ensuring insights are timely, accurate, and strategically relevant.
- Apply expertise in retail data and reporting tools to help cross-functional teams leverage analytics to achieve business goals.
- Develop and evolve dashboards and data visualization tools to improve accessibility of insights for cross-functional teams.
- Ensure data integrity across systems by proactively identifying discrepancies, conducting root cause analysis, and recommending process improvements.
- Conduct pricing, profitability, and margin analyses across categories and regions, identifying risks and opportunities for competitive advantage.
- Assist in scenario modeling and sensitivity analyses to support demand planning, promotions, and financial forecasting.
- Translate data into business insights that inform executive decision-making, presenting findings and recommendations in clear, compelling ways.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS
- 1–3 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related role (internships or academic projects may count).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or related field.
- Proficiency in Excel and SQL with working knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, preferred).
- Ability to understand business operations, processes, and translate data into business insights that “tell a story” or aid decision-making
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and communicate data and information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communicator with ability to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

In accordance with any local and state compensation laws, the compensation listed is the current estimated range for the position. Final offer details and future compensation may be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to, geographic location, market compensation data, skills, experience, and other relevant factors. Pay Range
$60,000—$65,000 USD
