Reporting to the Director, Sales Strategy & Commercialization, the Commercialization Product Manager is responsible for leading the commercialization process of new cannabis products from a sales and go-to-market perspective.

You will play a critical role in bringing new products to life—from ideation through to launch—by managing timelines, aligning cross-functional teams, and supporting the commercialization process to meet key sales milestones, including provincial submissions and key commercial initiatives. Success in this role requires strong coordination, attention to detail, and a mindset focused on continuous improvement.

WORK LOCATION:

The ideal candidate will be based at our Kelowna, British Columbia or Toronto, Ontario.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on a wide range of legal cannabis products, including vapes, concentrates, edibles, and beverages.
  • Contribute to the development and evolution of the innovation portfolio in alignment with commercial benchmarks and product brand guidelines.
  • Lead and manage the commercialization of new products—from concept to launch—delivering on time and within scope.
  • Lead regular project check-ins with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure milestones, deliverables, and timelines are met.
  • Support a successful category pre-sell and provincial submission process for new products leading up to market launch, including presenting and transferring product knowledge to relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor and leverage competitive and consumer trends within the cannabis industry and related CPG sectors.
  • Assess and identify risks and opportunities within key projects using a solution-oriented approach.
  • Champion the execution and implementation of commercial changes and improvements, as applicable.
  • Perform other projects and tasks as assigned by the Director of Sales Strategy & Commercialization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience, preferably in cannabis, beverage alcohol, pharmaceuticals, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or other regulated industries
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and launching new products in a regulated market
  • Knowledge of cannabis, including vapes, concentrates, and/or extraction processes, is an asset
  • Strong project management skills, including creating and managing timelines, tracking actions, and ensuring deadlines are met through effective workback planning
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and focused on practical, solution-driven outcomes
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Skilled in using data and metrics to support decisions and drive results
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
