The pay for this role is $17.50/hour. This position operates 5 days a week, and requires at least one weekend day. Please make sure that you are submitting your most up to date resume for consideration.
 

Job Summary: Sanitation & Facilities Technician (Cannabis Facility)

This position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and basic facility maintenance throughout a cannabis production facility, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and state regulations. The role supports daily operations across departments and adheres to company conduct standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal

  • Sanitize and sterilize facility areas, packaging materials, and grow rooms

  • Conduct monthly grow room filter changes and green waste destruction using BioTrack

  • Clean equipment, jars, bathrooms, kitchens, and break rooms

  • Perform minor repairs and general maintenance (e.g., plumbing, HVAC)

  • Support Research & Development and assist other departments as needed

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Qualifications:

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED (experience preferred)

  • Able to stand, walk, crouch, and perform repetitive tasks for long hours

  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs

  • Good vision and color differentiation required

Skills & Abilities:

  • Dependable and adaptable to changing tasks and priorities

  • Basic technical and mechanical knowledge (e.g., A/C, HVAC, plumbing)

  • Strong attention to detail, safety, and cleanliness

  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet quality standards

Work Environment:

  • Exposure to loud noise, dust, fumes, and occasional toxic chemicals

  • Must be comfortable working in physically demanding conditions and around sensitive materials

This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced cannabis facility, ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to cleanliness and safety.
