Hospitality Driven Cannabis Dispensary in Jersey City is seeking a cannabis motorcycle delivery driver to join our team. We are looking for delivery personnel who are 21 years or older, responsible, time-oriented, warm, and friendly. Must have a valid motorcycle license.
Position Overview:
The Delivery Driver will pick-up and drop off items while adhering to
assigned routes and time schedules. The Delivery Driver works in conjunction with the
Dispatcher to ensure items are complete, packed correctly and safely delivered to the
customer. Any tips received by the delivery driver will be theirs to keep and will not have to include delivery tips in the store tip pool.
Delivery drivers will be driving company owned Vespas.
Delivery drivers hired to drive a company owned moped/scooter must have a valid motorcycle license or endorsement.
All drivers cannot have any points on their record
Primary Responsibilities:
• Delivers high-quality products to our customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner.
• Establishes and maintains outstanding relations with customers.
• Reviews and verifies customer orders to ensure accuracy.
• Contacts customers to confirm delivery details if there any questions or discrepancies
• In the absence of a dispatcher, the driver will fulfill the dispatcher role.
• Collect payments from customer at the time of product delivery.
• Follow local and state driving laws and road regulations.
• Adhere to company operating policies and procedures.
• Report any accidents or injuries to Supervisors immediately.
General Responsibilities:
• Greet all customers, in a professional, friendly manner.
• Ensure the store is well maintained, stocked, and clean at all times.
• Treat co-workers with respect and look for opportunities to help others without being
asked.
• Show up to work on time in appropriate attire and compliant with appearance policies.
• Possess adequate product knowledge to assist customers in making purchasing decisions.
Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
• Must be able to move and/or lift up to 20 pounds
