The pay for this role is $16.66/hour. Weekend availability required.
 

Job Summary: Cannabis Processing Technician (21+)

As a Cannabis Processing Technician at Phat Panda, you’ll play a key role in preparing cannabis for final production. Responsibilities include grinding, sifting, rolling, and quality checking pre-rolls, maintaining accurate inventory, supporting other processing departments, and training team members. You’ll track your production daily and help ensure smooth, efficient, and compliant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate grinding and rolling machines (e.g., Rocketbox, Knockbox)

  • Sift and prepare material for pre-rolls

  • Perform quality checks (QC) on joints for weight and consistency

  • Maintain clean, stocked, and organized workstations

  • Track production data by strain and per day

  • Assist in cross-department tasks (trim, scale, oil, labels, R&D)

  • Train new/existing team members as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Must be 21+ (legal requirement)

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Trimming or plant experience preferred

  • Basic computer skills a plus

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit/stand for long periods and perform repetitive hand tasks

  • Must lift/carry up to 25 lbs occasionally

  • Good vision and color recognition required

Skills Needed:

  • Strong focus, adaptability, and attention to detail

  • Basic math and written/verbal communication skills

  • Ability to follow SOPs, meet deadlines, and maintain product quality

  • Comfortable working in a moderate to loud, dusty, or fume-exposed environment
