The Green Door in San Francisco— a legendary dispensary and one of the Bay Area’s most iconic cannabis destinations — is currently seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable Budtenders to join our retail team. This is a flexible, part-time opportunity to be part of a well-established name in the industry, known for quality, community, and customer care. As a Budtender, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming environment, guiding guests through their cannabis experience, and supporting day-to-day operations — all while growing your career in a fast-paced and dynamic setting.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver top-notch customer service, offering product education and tailored recommendations
- Ensure every guest leaves satisfied and informed
- Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Accurately process transactions and handle cash using our POS system
- Stay current on cannabis products, compliance regulations, and store protocols
- Assist with inventory tasks, including restocking and periodic product counts
- Participate in ongoing training and meet all compliance requirements
- Promote related products through cross-selling
- Work 6 to 8 hour shifts, depending on scheduling needs
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of customer service or retail experience
- Flexible availability — evenings, weekends, and some holidays required
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Clear communication and strong interpersonal skills
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-moving setting and handle multiple tasks
- Familiarity with cannabis products is a plus — but not required (training provided)
- Cash handling experience
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
