Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Mylar Packaging Operator to join our cultivation processing team. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and have hands-on experience operating and troubleshooting mylar packaging machines. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our products are packaged efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor mylar packaging machinery to ensure consistent product quality and efficiency
Perform routine equipment inspections, cleaning, and minor adjustments to maintain optimal machine performance
Troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime and coordinate with maintenance when necessary
Accurately weigh, fill, and seal products according to established SOPs and quality standards
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company policies and state regulations
Complete daily production logs and ensure packaging counts meet quota and accuracy requirements
Collaborate with the processing team to meet production goals and timelines
Qualifications:
Previous experience operating a mylar packaging machine required
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify and solve equipment issues
Experience working in a cultivation, food production, or manufacturing environment preferred
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills
Commitment to maintaining quality, safety, and compliance standards
