We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized Marketing Administrative Assistant to join our cannabis retail marketing team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has experience managing digital platforms, and takes pride in maintaining accurate, consistent content across multiple systems. This role plays a critical part in ensuring marketing campaigns and online platforms run smoothly and reflect the brand’s professional standards.


Key Responsibilities

Weedmaps Management

  • Regularly update store bios, product menus, featured sections, and banners
     
  • Upload promotional deal banners aligned with campaigns and product launches
     
  • Monitor for technical issues, visual discrepancies, and outdated content
     
  • Respond to customer DMs in a professional, brand-consistent tone
     

Dutchie eCommerce & Backoffice

  • Ensure product listings are accurate, including naming conventions, categories, THC/CBD content, and descriptions
     
  • Upload and maintain high-quality branded images using in-house photography or vendor assets
     
  • Manage banner content and refresh carousels with featured products, vendor drops, and promotional items
     
  • Use product scoring tools to prioritize visibility of new and high-performing products
     
  • Cross-check platform consistency between Dutchie and Weedmaps to maintain brand alignment
     

Media & Content Management

  • Edit and upload product photography, ensuring image quality and consistency
     
  • Generate strain-specific deli labels using ChatGPT; maintain organized label folders within Google Drive
     
  • Post regular content to Instagram and Facebook Stories to promote deals and new products
     

Seed TV & In-Store Screens

  • Upload all digital assets for in-store TVs and playlists
     
  • Audit screens daily to ensure accurate deal displays, compliance, and correct formatting
     
  • Manage store-specific banners reflecting location-based promotions
     

Internal Communication & Platform Audits

  • Rotate featured products to reflect current inventory, high-performing items, and vendor pushes
     
  • Conduct daily menu audits for name formatting, THC%, imagery, and category accuracy
     
  • Align all visual media with deal sheets to avoid customer-facing discrepancies
     
  • Maintain daily communication with store managers regarding menu updates, platform issues, and campaign execution
     
  • Provide updates in team communication channels regarding vendor visits, digital updates, and real-time concerns

Preferred Experience:

  • Cannabis retail marketing or e-commerce

  • Understanding of cannabis marketing compliance
