Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Minimum of 3 years of personnel management experience with at least 2 years being in the cannabis industry.
  • Minimum of 3 years of inventory management experience using industry-specific software.
  • Minimum of 3 years of point of sale and cash handling experience.
  • Must be able to pass a background check with no pending charges or convictions within the past 10 years for a controlled substance-related felony.
  • Must not be registered as a primary caregiver or must withdraw registration as a registered primary caregiver prior to accepting an official Offer of Employment.
  • Must have reliable transportation and be equally reliable.
  • Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry.

Tasks and Expectations:

  1. Leadership and Supervision:

    • Lead, mentor, and motivate team members to foster a positive and productive work environment.

    • Prioritize audiences and tasks including: customers, vendors, phone calls, and special projects.

    • Communicate goals, provide updates, and address any issues or concerns with the guidance from your GM.

    • Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on their skills and workload.

    • Ensure store compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations including safety and health.

  2. Inventory Fulfillment:

    • Oversee the stocking of products on the sales floor before, during, and after shift, including but not limited to proper labeling and physical organization of items in backstock to maintain a clean and organized stockroom.

    • Monitor budtender transactions and identify potential issues.

    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

  3. Communication:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact between the team and GM.

    • Ensure effective communication within the team and with other departments.

    • Ensure guest satisfaction through proper resolution of conflict.

  4. Problem Solving and Decision Making:

    • Identify and resolve conflicts or issues within the team promptly and effectively.

    • Make informed decisions to enhance team productivity and performance.

    • Encourage innovative thinking and problem-solving approaches among team members.

  5. Quality Assurance:

    • Ensure that all deliverables meet the required quality standards.

    • Implement and enforce best practices and standard operating procedures.

    • Complete all team lead paperwork and communications to maintain high standards of work.

  6. Customer Service:

    • Set the standard and lead from the front.

    • Treat all customers and co-workers with dignity and respect.

    • Offer expert cannabis product information and guidance, answering questions and helping customers find the best possible product for them.

    • Maintain a clean and organized store environment to create an enjoyable shopping experience.

  7. Technologies:

    • Dutchie Register: Must be proficient with customer facing element of the POS

    • Dutchie Back Office: Must be proficient with the operational element of the POS

    • Alpine: Monitor customer Loyalty Platform.

    • Zebra Printer: Use in collaboration with Dutchie Back Office to create labels.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18 per hour + tips
