DACUT is a vertically integrated cannabis company focused on delivering premium products and exceptional experiences across cultivation, manufacturing, and retail. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to oversee our retail inventory operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead a high-performing inventory team.
This role is ideal for someone who is meticulous, regulatory-savvy, and motivated to maintain operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.
Oversee accurate inventory of cannabis products (flower, concentrates, edibles, etc.) in line with Cannabis Regulatory Agency (CRA) rules
Manage receipt, transfers, and tracking using METRC and other approved systems, ensuring complete documentation and compliance
Conduct daily data entry and record-keeping for all inventory transactions
Ensure all products are properly labeled, packaged, and compliant with CRA and Michigan cannabis regulations
Perform regular internal audits to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies
Lead, train, and supervise inventory staff to ensure compliance and operational efficiency
Coordinate with security teams to manage vault access for authorized personnel only
Investigate and resolve inventory variances in partnership with compliance and operational teams
Maintain transparency and adherence to MRTMA and MMMA laws regarding cannabis inventory management
Monitor inventory quality and product integrity across all retail locations
Generate reports on inventory levels, variances, and audits for management and compliance purposes
Identify opportunities to improve inventory processes and reduce discrepancies
3+ years of inventory management experience in cannabis retail, including METRC proficiency
Strong knowledge of Cannabis Regulatory Agency (CRA) compliance, Michigan cannabis laws, and reporting requirements
Excellent attention to detail with experience performing audits and reconciling inventory discrepancies
Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic inventory management software
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills with team training experience
Must be 21+ and able to pass a background check
Previous experience managing inventory in multi-location cannabis retail
Familiarity with cannabis-specific compliance platforms and reporting tools
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods (8+ hours)
Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach to access products
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and push/pull carts
