WHAT YOU'LL DO:
The Budtender works one-on-one with guests to recommend products that best match their needs. Responsible for ensuring an excellent guest experience through friendly, outgoing service, strong communication skills, and fluency in all products.
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Welcome each guest personally using enthusiastic words, tone, and body language
- Verify proper paperwork, documentation, and ID for guests
- Work as a team to maintain a positive atmosphere and efficient service
- Clean, stock, and organize dispensary; work with others to keep all areas cleaned and stocked in accordance with the Company's standards
- Enter orders in a timely and accurate manner, collect money from guests for products purchased, and make appropriate change
- Quickly and precisely handle cash and debit transactions while always maintaining a balanced cash drawer
- Conduct nightly inventory counts of all dispensary products
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and products offered
- Restock and organize product displays
- Perform other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- Knowledge of cannabis is essential
- One year of retail or other applicable customer service experience required; cannabis industry experience preferred
- Must be able to accommodate scheduling expectations including weekend and evening hours
- Basic computer skills, Point of Sale software, and cash management
- Must be 21 or older
- Basic mathematical skills and an ability to handle money and give correct change
- Basic reading skills
- Excellent communication skills
