We are seeking a motivated, dependable and responsible, part-time, experienced,
Cannabis Extraction Technician to join our team. This position will be responsible for our
evening and weekend extraction runs. We are willing to work with your schedule. Ideally,

Position Summary
The Cannabis Extraction Technician will be responsible for operating and maintaining
extraction equipment, performing various extraction methods, and ensuring the
production of consistent and high-quality cannabis concentrates. This role requires
adherence to strict safety protocols, standard operating procedures SOPs, and quality
control guidelines.
Responsibilities
● Operate and maintain various cannabis extraction equipment, including but not limited to CO2, ethanol, and hydrocarbon extraction systems.
● Perform all aspects of the extraction process, from material preparation to post-processing and refinement of concentrates.
● Maintain accurate inventory of raw materials, solvents, and finished products.
● Monitor extraction parameters, including temperature, pressure, and flow rates, to optimize extraction efficiency and product quality.
● Conduct regular quality control checks on extracted concentrates to verify potency, purity, and consistency.
● Maintain accurate records of extraction parameters and batch information to ensure traceability and compliance with regulatory requirements.
● Troubleshoot any issues related to extraction processes and equipment to minimize downtime and maintain product quality.
● Adhere to strict safety procedures and guidelines, including the proper handling of hazardous materials and equipment.
● Follow all Standard Operating Procedures SOPs for extraction, post-processing, and equipment maintenance.
● Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including regular cleaning and sterilization of equipment and facilities.
● Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment issues, escalating complex problems to the appropriate personnel.
● Collaborate with the production team to optimize extraction processes and improve
product quality.
● Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory changes related to cannabis extraction.

Qualifications
● High school diploma or GED equivalent
● Minimum of 1 years of experience in cannabis extraction or a similar laboratory/production environment.
● Proven experience with various extraction methods (e.g., CO2, ethanol, hydrocarbon).
● Experience with C1D1 compliant equipment.
● Strong understanding of laboratory safety procedures and the handling of hazardous materials.
● Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of extraction equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
● Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the extraction supervisor or maintenance team.
● Familiarity with GMP Good Manufacturing Practices) and quality control principles.
● Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
● Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
● Basic computer proficiency for data entry and record-keeping.
● Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
● Must be able to work in a noisy environment and around strong smells.
● Must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass a background check.
● Must be able to obtain a Missouri DCR-issued Agent ID and pass a federal fingerprinting background check.
