Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Cultivation Lead to oversee daily operations within our grow facility in Flint, MI. This role is responsible for supervising a team of 4–6 cultivation technicians while managing the plant life cycle from flower through harvest. The ideal candidate will bring proven leadership, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to producing high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a team of 4–6 cultivation technicians, ensuring daily tasks are completed efficiently.
Manage plant care, monitoring, and maintenance from flowering through harvest.
Oversee scheduling, task delegation, and workflow management.
Train, coach, and motivate team members to uphold quality and compliance standards.
Ensure compliance with state regulations and facility SOPs.
Track and document cultivation metrics, yields, and plant health reports.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards throughout the cultivation facility.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of commercial cannabis cultivation experience required.
Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
Demonstrated history of long job tenure with previous employers.
College degree in Horticulture, Plant Science, Agriculture, or related field preferred.
Strong knowledge of cannabis cultivation techniques and best practices.
Ability to lead and motivate a small team in a structured environment.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
